  1. I mean, I can tell you the LIV event didnt have an ounce of drama like this.

Speaking of LIV…that unnamed player he referenced about having more PGA wins? Greg Norman 😂

Rose had 3 eagles and couldn’t shoot 59. That feels like a once in a lifetime chain of events.

    1. @Alpa it’s ok to exist. I’m not fond of any dealings with the Saudi’s but it’s every players own personal choice. But I just don’t see it producing the drama like this because of shotgun starts. It’s efficient, but lacks drama.

    2. @Paul Johnson *Hit’s OB twice, next shot lands 5 yards in front of the green, chips in next shot luckily*

“Mark me down for a 3”

      Playing partners: 👁👄👁

    3. @Alpa Hey, I’m no Bishop Pickering!
Starting out, length was about all I had. Took awhile to develop anything else. Driver & 8 iron to two par 5s, and pitched in on a 310 yd par 4. Don’t forget the quad on a par 4 and a multitude of bogeys! Been many years since then tho.

  2. Great finish but if you didn’t catch the Commissioner’s interview, it’s an insight on what is wrong with the PGA: Tone-deaf rich guys in bed with other tone-deaf rich guys, but not wanting to share the riches with certain other (admittedly, tone-deaf) rich guys. If the Tour really wanted to make a difference in communities, they’d siphon off more of those large purses for the communities in which they play. Yes, they love to tout how much money they donate, but it’s an embarrassing pittance against how much money they gain. If you doubt that, think of how much you pay for health insurance or bank loans, then reconcile that against how much those execs pay for the privilege of puttering around the course with the pros and putting on golf matches (with free labor from local volunteers).

  3. For the ones who reads this just know this is only the beginning keep pushing, grinding, and fighting. Whatever it is in life you want to do to go after it life is to short. Life is a marathon not a sprint so go out there and live it up I hope all is well and goes well for you peace and one love.

    1. I agree we need a fighting spirit because the world is savage. This is the inspiration of sports. Something thing that Rory pointed out here is also that we need each other. That’s the first step to unity– understanding we are all fighting daily.

  4. Brilliant last round by McIlroy,. Thomas and Finau and Rose. It was fantastic!. I’m a big McIlroy fan and it’s great to see him back in form. His wedge play and putting were on top form as well as his driving. Plays like that next week which I think he will and another Major for him!

  5. Welldone Rory, he didn’t have to make a comment about one of legends in golf Greg Norman. He has a long way to go to match his stats.

    1. In my opinion, Rory has already surpassed Greg Norman’s career and he’s only 33. Greg was great but Rory is top 20 all time.

  6. So happy for Rory. He went and got em’! Cool to see him get a new fire for the game. This could be the start of something great.

  7. Congratulations Rory! And this is not a slight on Rory but just to put it in perspective he will have to win 61 more times to tie Tiger, basically he will have to do what he has done in his entire career 3 more times.

  8. But the LIV tour has shotgun starts! Who could possibly watch this dramatic finish with one of the most lovable guys to pick up a crooked stick taking the win when you could watch a bunch of has beens and never will bes have a shotgun start?! And that’s not even getting into the amazing team names that make them sound more like dweeby college acapella groups than squads of peak performing athletes.

  9. Make longer highlight videos. Also, don’t make them so corny.

Look at Indycar’s highlights, for how it should be done.

With LIV now a thing, the PGA needs BADLY to step up their social media game…

    1. Couldn’t agree more. I’m behind the PGA but their highlights suck more often than not. The European Tour does a good job. Copy them.

  10. I’m still not sure why the pga tour leaves out the key shots and birdies of other player in contention…

The highlights would be much more attractive if they had a shot for shot experience with all golfers in contention…

  11. I think
it’s funny that McIllboy and the PGA Jay Wanahand are still running down the Saudi League. Especially when the third place finisher made more than McIllboy did winning first place.

  12. Schwartzel winning $4m the day before this doesn’t even come close. Fans care about the trophies! Rory just needs to work on his air punches…

  13. Players should be able to play on whichever tour they wish. It’s up to the organisers to make them enticing to play. This was certainly really exciting to watch. Rory shouldn’t get involved in the politics of the PGA / LIV tours. Just go out and play great golf. That would be the best advert for the PGA Tour. I couldn’t care which tour a golfer selects to play, that’s up to them. I just love watching quality – and those players in the Canadian PGA tour championship put on a wonderful display of golf.

  14. Three great golfers and TRULY class acts in that last group. Nice change after watching yesterday’s final round ‘highlights’.

  15. Hey PGA, tell us, with Rory’s Taylormade heads being manufactured in China, are you going to ban him off the tour too? And better yet, Rory, why are you not mouthing off about that fact? I wonder if any of the @pgatour guys have Chinese products in their house? You know, products made in a country that has 1.8million Muslims in “re-education camps” or call them what they are, concentration camps. Almost all the major brands have got bases in China, you dont hear them mouthing off about that. Because that is where their pockets will really get hurt. The hypocrisy is so damn funny. China is all over the PGA tour and you hear not a single word being said.

  16. Rory earns 1.56 million for 4 days of golf. Charles Schwartzel earned 4,75 million for 3 days of golf. Go do the maths.

  17. THIS is golf. I turned off LIV after 5 minutes in Thursday. Utter garbage in every way, just basically a clownish exhibition between no-names, washups, and greedy slimeballs.

  18. I’ve said all along Rory Needs to be a Nasty person on the golf course instead of being Mr nice all the time ‚he showed it today awesome ✊
