These are horrible tips. I was considering doing Joey D’s golf fitness program, but if these are his thoughts on “biomechanics”, I want no part of his program.
I think the idea of balance behind this drill is fantastic but wouldn’t that device cause coming over the top vs coming from inside?

By far one of the best drill you can do to train the lower body to stay out of the way. Proper pelvis and hip rotation are so important to a Biomechanically efficient golf swing. So much easier to shallow the club on the downswing. Great video! Thanks for sharing

just one problem. he’s dead wrong on how the knees respond to proper pelvis rotation. they do jettison out to some degree depending on the individual. you do want to knock the stick off and then rotate. watch any of the old great swings and any of the big hitters of this era.
