  1. I want to make a comment about how scrawny he is. Then I realize he has millions of dollars, a gorgeous wife and plays golf for a job. Good on you justin

    1. Small world I went to kindergarten to 8th grade with her. Seen her at parties said hey and moved we lived in new Lenox Illinois.. now look crazy world

    1. @Max Caysey it reflects poorly on America..Many europeans gripe about his behavior during the RYDER CUP, with the chugging..It’s a proper gentleman’s sport not a FRAT party

    2. @gout from fried okra Fair points all around… I didn’t watch any Ryder Cup… No Tiger, no watching for me. However, usually I think JT conducts himself very well behaved… He’s a young man in the prime of his life, excelling in a sport… its hard not being a little cocky… but fair points all around!

    1. @Pepsi_Cola_ Definitely. When he first said it I thought, OK, is this gonna be some ad? Sure enough, a good portion of this has an actual Whoop rep in it, haha.

  2. Was really enjoying this video until I realised this was all a sleezy sponsored video from Whoop. Idea was good but look at Justin when he is on his couch. He looks exhausted, eyes are all blood shot. He was so forced to do this endorcement. Sure he got well paid though so good for him!

    1. If that is all you take way from this video, another blah blah athlete doing an endorsement, too bad. It’s all about product placement, man. Didn’t Truman teach you anything?

    2. @thecrystalshipful not at all. Like I said I was enjoying the video, really good start and interesting but the product placement half way through was super sleezy. The whole video was staged to advertise whoop. Very patronising to a viewer like myself who likes this golfer especially.

    3. Even in his younger years, Justin had baggy, tired looking eyes. But I’m sure he stepped up to do this because of the one word he barely whispered, yet we were all told what he said. It’s a official sponsor for the tour in all its tax exempt hypocrisy. My product placement reference was from the Truman Show, the movie. A little humor.

  3. I really do get that the equipment is (way) better now, but these guys on Tour today have every bit of the talent, dedication, and mental toughness it takes to be a champion in any era. JT is no exception.

  4. The stability work and general fitness training are great and can improve strength, flexibility, and help prevent injury, but I think many golfers are overdoing the plyometric work and heavy weight training. Doing deadlifts and other heavy compound lifts combined with plyometrics, running, cycling, and the existing workload on the range and course hitting thousands of balls a week is just not conducive to a long, injury free career.

  5. Yeah it was an advertisement but that was so cool learning a little about a great golfer. One of my favorites to watch.

  6. Awesome JT, I met Justin at The Memorial Tournament in Columbus, Ohio and spook with him for a few minutes and he is a very genuine nice guy. Truly a gentleman in every way. This video is great it shows just who he is. And he definitely comes from good seed, his Grandfather, his Father and him— true Gentleman. Go get them Justin. I’m just a Fan.

  7. Man…The thumbnail did Justin Thomas dirty. If you scroll through the thumbnail quickly, Mr. Thomas looks similar to a high Justin Timberlake after he ate a bucket of KFC. The title also doesn’t help with the JT. Step up your thumbnail game PGA.

  8. This was a crudely disguised advertorial for Whoop. JT is a nice guy, but this is disappointing to see his name & image tarnished by shameless product placement.

  9. Order a Whoop and try to send it back and they’ll charge you for shipping – kind of like those As Seen On TV – “just pay shipping and handling” – it’s a joke.

    1. Dumb move? Look I know it was a bit excessive to make a big deal about one word he says. However, if he’s representing your brand then you can’t have him saying things like that on live TV, and if he does and Ralph Lauren keeps him, then the company’s image will drop by a lot.

  10. Disappointing to see what could have been a very cool video on JT, who I’m a big fan of, turn into a full on advertisement by the end. I’m on board with the product placement, but use some subtlety lol

  11. This is why professional golfers need to do more on social media and have their own channels. Having those insights into what goes on behind the scenes the work effort that goes on off the course the preparation is incredible

    1. Yeah to be fair to Bryson no matter what people think of him his YouTube channel is fascinating and I’m really grateful to these guys for the insight they give us

  12. What’s the name of this performance App company? Their name went by so quickly that I missed it. They should have mentioned it more.

  13. Am I the only one that noticed as they were going over his heart rate on his whoop at The Players he wasn’t even wearing a whoop band?

  14. Can someone explain how Whoop is showing data about his heart rate during the tournament when you can clearly see he’s not even wearing it during the tournament?

  15. How are they measuring his heart rate when during that shot he’s not even wearing the Whoop, am I missing something? Great long Whoop Commercial though 🙂

  16. To be fair, the whoop is great. Im glad they talked about it for several minutes of the 20 when i was looking to learn more about JT. Was great, and not totally random

  17. Whoop! There it is! Was hoping for something to help me like JT more, but this was about what I expected. He’s a good guy , not the most exciting, but that’s probably part of what helps him win.

  18. You have given me a sense of calm. I’m a senior who feels like I always have to be doing something. Rest and recoup is good to hear from a pro like you. Thanks!!

  19. lol how they sneak in the old clip of Tiger smiling trying to make it look like it was the same day as Justin getting announced 19:34

  20. Too bad they don’t ask him the truly relevant questions
    – Do you agree with 99% of scientists that Global warming is an existential threat for humanity? And what do you do to fight this threat and compensate your immense CO2 exposure by your private flights?
    – Do you believe that Joe Biden is the democratically chosen president?
    – Did you get vaccinated and do you believe this is the best and only way out of the pandemic?

  21. I work in a cubicle, during lunch I walk outside the building for 10 minutes, then I go back to my desk. Do I need a Whoop strap?

  22. Jesus all these golfers love their own farts don’t they. Wearing their initials on their head. Get over yourselves dudes. You hit a little ball with a club. Where has the humility gone?

  23. Good guy. A friend was in the players/family tent at the WM Phoenix Open and JT coincidentally reached for the salad dressing at the same time and apologized, insisting the friend use it first.

  24. The dull blade informally jail because icon postsynaptically coil under a cold exclamation. piquant, cynical lily

  25. One of the great characters in golf. Learns from his mistakes, voices his opinions without being disrespectful, and most importantly, knows what works for HIM. More content like this, please.

  26. Wow that’s pretty cool Good luck JT. I’m of the positive mindset and moving forward never getting stuck on negativity so I love the approach and attitude he has

  27. The first half was a cool profile of JT who is one of best in pro golf at being refreshingly open and easy to root for. Then it became a whoop infomercial

  28. Gotta admire a golfer ar 145 lbs, hits its very hard, long. Google the intentional thin drive, just a missle. Like shot out gun .

  29. Ummm. How on earth did Jack Nicklaus win in such a dominant fashion for all those years w/o all the Psycho Babble? What Jack did was hustle home after a Tourney and help raise his kids. One day they’ll learn they can win WHOOP or No WHOOP. WHOOP is a Hangeron. They are there like vultures to grab their portion of JT’s winnings. And Yes.….. dogs are the Best. They don’t want your Money – they just want your time and your love!!! More Dogs – Less Entourage.

  30. God the father has truly blessed you keep up the good work and and all that free time I hope you can use it for some Philanthropical purposes
