    1. What fucking monopoly… prove they have a monopoly….. you can’t even make a case cause there is no monopoly….. sheeze

  1. Phil is now the Lefty Loser. Hate to say it. But it is what it is now. I bet his wife and kids are ashamed. It is shameful. What a sad pathetic sellout whose greed and ego ruined his legacy.

    1. I have no desire to watch LIV.
Why watch exhibition golf, these guys have pocketed so much up front money that there’s incentive for them to keep their game in top shape. No cuts, come on.

  2. It seems like the Golf channel works for the PGA tour. Their coverage is completely bias against the LIV tour and that players are doing what they feel is right for their careers. Right or wrong it’s the players choice and this nonsense talk of loyalty sounds very like the indentured servitude that the NCAA got away with for way way too long. Does the PGA let players play in whatever event they want if they fall outside the top 125? Where’s the loyalty?

    1. Michael Meyers… of course it is and it doesn’t mean they’re wrong. If Heir (referencing Adolfo Hitler) Norman had proposed this in the beginning to stick it to the PGA and get a real tour and gold building game going he would have done so from the outset. The problem is not the Saudi’s and LIV… it is about an ruthless mean man wanting to become GOD… that… is my issue. The Saudi’s never started this and I see nothing wrong with their money v.s. Politics…. If that were the case they would NEVER allow the bribing of the LPGA after the start up, they would have gone that direction first but their demeaning and repressive belief in females will shine soon enough as HEIR Norman drags that tour down to use a leverage for overall messiahship. He is dangerous cause he has a huge chip in both shoulders for having choked so much while being so great…. In my opinion…. Stop focusing on the PGA and look for ulterior motives for again (3x’s) for this coup….. it’s all about him and those players are fucked.

    2. “It seems like the Golf Channel works for the PGA tour.” So true. If you watch some GC programming, you can see at the end, “The Golf Channel, The Official Channel of the PGA Tour.” So, NBC owns the GC and also ESPN and it has contracts to broadcast certain PGA Tour events. The PGA Tour wants to run professional golf as a closed shop and the Tour declined to coexist with the LIV and, instead, functionally “declared war” on the LIV. Thus, each of the GC and ESPN talking heads like Eamonn Lynch, Rich Eisen, and most notably that talentless twerp Brandel Chamblee have spewed nothing but bile about the LIV, Greg Norman, and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the golfers who are toadies for the PGA Tour – Rory McIlroy, Mark Hubbard, and now, Davis Love III – have taken up the PGA Tour mantra that “PGA Tour good; LIV golf evil.” Each pre-tournament press conference for a PGA Tour event is just another forum for a 2 digit IQ Tour pro for trashing the LIV but, as Hollywood has said from time immemorial, “There is no bad publicity, just publicity.” The LIV has been given more free publicity and probably garnered more sympathy than it could have bought just from these pressers.
I used to watch the GC quite a bit but, after all its negativity, I turn it on very infrequently as I’m disgusted by the Tour and its bullying rhetoric against the LIV. When a bully confronts someone, I’m always for the person or organization being bullied. The LIV was never designed to be a rival or replacement for the PGA Tour, it was designed to coexist. Well, apparently, coexistence is something unknown and alien to the PGA Tour.

    3. Good, any channel should be. Besides, Golf Channel is in a way working for the PGA Tour, they are the cable rights holder.

That doesn’t mean what they report should be discredited. This BS crap of more time with LIV is nonsense, they want the money pure and simple.

  3. I don’t get the big deal with Liv Players playing on the pga tour. The PGA should just make their schedule and if Liv players miss the tournament then other players get more starts and more fedex cup points then the players who miss the tournament for Liv. So if the Liv players still make the fedex cup it just shows that they are way better players.

    1. It’s a shame you just don’t get it… it’s not about LIV… it’s about Heir Norman not wanting a tour to combine with the pga or in conjunction… it’s about him wanting to destroy the pga and every tour so he is GOD…. No brokerage firm would allow their medium to top sellers to work for a competitor for the weekend and back to them for the weekdays…. Not even the low level brokers can’t jump short term in a weekly basis …. And those firms are not monopolies…. These liv defects made their choice .. LIV with it

    2. Damb right. PGA having so many WELL paying jobs in the organization makes it a job to be classified nonprofit.
PGA: fire Jay Boy the gay boy

  4. They should be able to compete in the majors plus playoffs. The pga can make $ off this. Make the playoffs worth even more. I think it will bring more viewers to both tours. People like competition.

  5. People act like the pga tour has been treating players badly. Sorry, these guys that went to the Liv tour are just plain greedy. All of them already have enough money do ANYTHING they want for the rest of their lives. They got extremely wealthy playing golf for a living because of the pga tour. Entitled ego maniacs, especially phil and bryson

  6. PGA Tour is ran by complete idiots. I’d exploit LIV as much as possible by allowing them to play the bad guy role every week on tour to gain an audience. This is why the tour is shit and deserves to die a slow painful death. Long list of big names wanting to move to LIV after the playoffs but Greg said No Mas, you missed the bus 🙂

  7. Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine empru.ONLINE Brünette und eine anderec Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wenn ich 4 wählen würde

  8. LIV players want their cake and eat it to. BOO HOO BOO HOO. Common mang. You guys chose to leave the PGA. Why do you want to come back?

  9. Lefty took liv golf for a ride. He hasn’t come close to doing anything to prove his worth. 17 strokes off the lead and 34th out of 48. Saudi’s have much more money than brains.

    1. LIV was designed to coexist. But Jay M. was too dumb to take LIV calls and integrate the league. PGAT incompetence caused the whole problem

  10. why is The Golf Channel and PGA trying to cause a divide between players?? screw PGA and golf channel for pushing this narrative

    1. The Euro women just played a tournament in Saudi Arabia. Sponsored by Saudi Aramco (owned by Saudi Royal Family). No “bone saw” comments there.…..

  11. Damon hack you should just report the golf news and the other guy as well . Don’t get upset because other golf players decided to go else where to make money. And further more who are you how many wins do you have on tour.

    1. “Hack” seems to be a very fitting surname for Damon. It most accurately describes what he is to sports journalism: a “hack.”

  12. It´s all about entitlement. The LIV players want to do whatever they want, where they want, and when they want. No rules to follow, or to live up to. Isn´t this what golf is all about ? The hell with rules.

  13. Lmao PGA are being quite dramatic. The players don’t acts care, they’re just mad because LIV didn’t offer them the big big bucks hahaha. Go chase the bag!!!!

    1. @Michael Myers I’ll cut Finau some slack as he’s always improving and I have a soft spot for any pro who started with thrift store 2nd hand clubs and hitting junk 2nd hand balls into a mattress in his Dad’s garage. More power to him. But, then you have 2nd tier pros like JT Poston, Mark Hubbard, and Billy Horschel being his competition, not “must watch” TV.

    2. @Diogenes 9561 He’s been playing better and I give him credit for getting his start on The Big Break and working his way up. But he dont sell tickets.

  14. If you prefer to watch the LIV golf format and dislike the PGA Tour, then stop watching any PGA run events.Simple.These players took the big bucks and left.It seems they want to return though and play in the big PGA tournaments.I could be wrong but I smell big money and prestige… If the PGA was that bad why would you want to come back? Just saying…

  15. PGA banned these players after 1 match for LIV, acc to PGA rule book they are allowed up to 3, PGA will be exposed for character assassination and also taking money from Saudi as well, and many other things, go LIV go

  16. When the players earn and qualify for the FedEx cup you don’t make up new rules to discriminate and prevent them from participating.
Ask Love 3, Woods and rory if they ever played on a different tour for money ! Great ideal to boycott, like to see that and then those players who boycott can go play on another tour too, the European tour.

  17. A lot of these questions these people are asking are answered directly in the 106 page lawsuit
(However the answers are not favorable to the PGA Tour)

  18. Go LIV. F Jay Boy the gay boy. Clearly restriction of trade. PGA getting charity status is a joke with several 7 digit salaries and MANY 6 that don’t start with 1. So much for Phil’s LIFETIME membership. PGA = Indian givers.

  19. The damage being done to Gooch, etc is not earning OWGR points. THAT could keep them from qualifying for majors. It would seem an injunction is needed to allow them to play in the Fedex Cup playoffs.

  20. PGAT asked for this. LIV was designed to coexist. But Jay M. was too dumb to work with them. Now he has a full competitive league to fight off. Good luck with that Jay since Greg and Phil are élite champions, élite winners and savvy businessmen and you Jay are not you are a bureaucrat.

  21. So, who’s greedy now? The PGA or the LIV golfers who wanted more money for less golf AND are sueing the PGA for money damages?

Pretty clear to me that they’re no better or different than the Tour.

    Congrats guys, ya played yourselves.

  22. So if LIV is successful and destroys the PGA Tour, what will the LIV players have to go back to? Seems like this is just being done because the LIV players want what they turned their backs on. If you leave your job for more money, you don’t get to keep your old job.

    1. The PGA Tour is simply an organizing body for its players and its sponsors. If the Tour goes belly up, the sponsors of each tournament can simply coördinate with other sponsors for dates and hold the tournaments minus any PGA Tour control. It would fall to each sponsor as to who could play in a tournament and it might be better that way. Then again, the sponsor might ask for the LIV to assist. The future should be interesting.

  23. New rules, reactive and daily from the PGA brought us here. PGA is now done and the writing is on the wall. LIV is going to add 70 players, division 1 and division 2 with a Ryder cup format coming between divisions. Exciting times, unless you are still with the PGA.

    1. There is no “both sides” to this. Get with this, terrible opinion, absolutely horrific people are that so delusional.

    1. You want Stenson playing instead of a good American college qualifier? LIV is a joke. You know it as does the real game.

  24. PGA should just go to invitational only tournaments if the LIV creeps wanna keep crying about the choice THEY made, Bryson is washed up anyway, this suit is baseless as the pga is a private organization and the creeps knew they would be banned,

  25. Goodbye PGA tour, Jay Monahan has destroyed you from within? Who is paying Jay? Now he has pushed all these great players to LIV. Lawsuit is coming against OWGR.

  26. There is lots of legalize here. The way I see it is that these golfers were employees of the PGA. As with any company, if your employee starts working for a competitor then you are simple going to fire them. Also Mickelson suing to get into the playoffs????? That would be the only way he would ever get in.

  27. Some of these players have played 100’s of events for the pga but they go and play one event for LIV and that makes them a SOB. Really !!!! Where is the pga loyality to someone like Phil that is over 50 and just wants to play somewhere new and still play a few events on pga also. You are telling me he has not paid his time for them. F the pga and the golf media.

    1. Who cares about Phil Prickleson? If they want to play less golf objective achieved. They left the PGA tour but now want to come back? Not a resounding endorsement of LIV golf. Taylor Gooch is suing his management company over joining it. It strikes me that it’s mostly a bunch of has been golfers who took the money because they would never win again on tour. These business models are pathetic.

  28. All you idiots who think the liv golf thing is going to survive better get a cheering section. 48 players, 54 holes of golf, big money earning but they did not beat anyone but a bunch of “has beens” who do not even make the cut in the Majors.

  29. Didn’t these fools who went to LIV hear that they cannot play in any PGA events if they play LIV? No FedEx Cup, No Ryder Cup, No President’s Cup, No Players, and will have to qualify for majors, but when they only made $10–20 Million a year on the PGA tour that just wasn’t enough, or fair.
I thought the reason they went was so they could spend more time with their families, now they want to play more tournaments. I guess they already see they made a big mistake playing in their 3 round, no cut exhibition tourneys. There is No Incentive when you get paid millions before doing anything and nobody cares. They are lucky if they get 50,000 viewers on youtube, and were selling tickets for $1 at Trump’s embarrassing spectacle.

  30. Showing that money they got from liv tour is worthless they want to be with the establishment pga! They miss real competition!🤔😋😏

  31. It’s about time they got together and filed this lawsuit. The PGA wants to be the one ( MONOPOLY ) & only. The reality is Professional Golfers want to make money, that’s why they took this path.

  32. it is like someone who leaves government sectors to work for a private sector (because the pay is higher) and then want to work on both sides.…which is not practical and not right.…

  33. Davis is way out of line . Pga tour has gotten away with a monopoly for decades. Now they are trashing men who made a business decision.

  34. The PGA is doing everything to defend their monopoly over both playing and teaching pros worldwide. They are mentally stuck in the past and see themselves as the owners of the sport, the players and the teachers. They are parasites and of course they react hystericly if someone dares to question their privileges. Or are they owning the pro golfers?
Take a look at the tennis players. Thats the way you do it. F+ck the PGA.

  35. They waited to file because they wanted to co exist with PGA tour. PGA tour is in big trouble. You already went woke no Tiger. Big trouble with Billy slow play Horschel as the face .
