2. This is a per­fect examp­le of how NOT to fix a ball mark. Still a divot and that grass will most likely die.

   1. @JUSTIN No. With the depres­si­on still the­re it will not heal and will lea­ve a dead grass spot. Not only have I gol­fed all my life but I have worked on a golf cour­se for years and had to fix the­se marks dai­ly befo­re mowing. This video is trash all around.

   2. @TJ yes, you’re tal­king to a 10 year cer­ti­fied green­kee­per (wan­ting to go for a Mas­ter Green­kee­per). It’ll be just fine as I see this on my two cour­ses all the time. Pro­per main­ten­an­ce on greens also inclu­des wee­kly top­dres­sing, this will help with the depres­si­on. Pro­per­ly fixing the mark is for the gol­fers behind you, not the grass. Mowing dai­ly will also help smooth it out. So that mark will be fine for the grass but not the guy put­ting across it.
